Dispatch automatically picks Cowork for knowledge work or Claude Code for development, then starts the session on your desktop.

Claude works on your computer using local files, extensions, and tools. Your desktop must be on and the app open.

You receive a push notification on your phone. Open the thread to review results, request changes, or assign the next task.
When Dispatch shines
Dispatch is most valuable when you have a clear task that Claude can execute without much back-and-forth. Tasks like "organize all PDFs in Downloads by date," "summarize the last 5 meeting notes into a single document," or "update the quarterly report with the latest numbers from the sales spreadsheet" work well because they have a clear goal and a verifiable result.
