AI design and app generation tools compared

When to choose Stitch

Choose Stitch when design quality is your priority and you want a conversational, voice-driven creative process with free access. It excels at going from rough ideas to polished UI with Figma export and portable design systems. Choose v0 or Bolt.new when you need a full-stack deployed application with backend logic. Choose Figma AI when you want AI assistance directly inside Figma with access to your existing design systems and team collaboration.

Stitch is still experimental

Despite the significant March 2026 update, Stitch remains a Google Labs experiment. v0, Bolt.new, and Figma AI are production services with established pricing and SLAs. Google could modify, restructure, or discontinue Stitch at any time. The daily credit system and feature set may change as it matures. Do not build critical business workflows around Stitch without a contingency plan.
