Dreamina is ByteDance's international AI creative platform, serving as the consumer interface for its suite of generative AI models. It is where users access Seedance (video generation), Seedream (image generation), and SeedEdit (image editing) through a unified web application at dreamina.capcut.com.

Dreamina vs Jimeng
ByteDance operates two separate platforms for its AI creative tools:
- Dreamina is the international platform available at dreamina.capcut.com. It serves users outside mainland China and operates under international data regulations.
- Jimeng is the Chinese domestic platform. It offers the same underlying models but with Chinese language interface, Chinese content policies, and compliance with mainland Chinese regulations.
Both platforms provide access to the same Seedance model versions, but feature rollouts may differ in timing. Dreamina typically receives new Seedance versions within a short window of the Jimeng release.
Token System
Dreamina uses a shared token pool across all its creative tools. Free users receive 225 tokens daily, which can be spent on video generation, image creation, or editing tasks. Paid plans (Lite at $18/mo, Pro at $48/mo, Max at $84/mo) provide larger monthly credit allocations. Video generation consumes more tokens than image generation, so heavy video users may want to budget accordingly.
