Why NVIDIA and Google invested

Both NVIDIA and Google participated in Cursor's Series D round. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang publicly stated that all 40,000+ NVIDIA engineers use AI-assisted coding and that productivity has gone up incredibly. Google's investment reflects its strategic interest in the AI developer tools ecosystem, even as it competes with its own Gemini-powered tools.
