Integrations and Connectors

What are AI Integrations?

Integrations connect your AI chatbot to external apps and services so it can take actions beyond just generating text. With integrations, the AI can read your Google Docs, search your company's files, check your calendar, send messages, run code, and interact with dozens of other tools directly from the chat. This transforms the AI from a standalone assistant into a connected hub that fits into your existing workflow.

Common use cases
  • Connecting to Google Workspace, Slack, or Notion so the AI can reference your real data
  • Automating workflows that span multiple apps (summarize an email, create a task, update a spreadsheet)
  • Giving the AI access to specialized tools like code interpreters, data analysis engines, or search APIs

Custom connectors

Paid plan users can add custom MCP connectors by entering a name and server URL in Settings > Connectors > "Add custom connector." This enables connection to proprietary internal tools or services not yet in the official directory.
